Anyway, I hope everyone had a great week. I had a good week. I went to the restaurant, On The Border, with friends earlier in the week. I don’t care for their dinners, but they have the best apple crisp dessert… so keep that in mind if you are looking for a good dessert place. I also recommend the Paradise Pie or the Molten Chocolate Cake from Chili’s- they’re pretty much amazing!
Okay, so last night there was a multi-stake YSA activity. We went to the IMAX theater and saw Everest. Yeah, I have absolutely no desire to climb Everest after seeing that movie… not that I did before, but if I did it would have completely suppressed that desire. After the movie we met at a nearby Stake Center for “mingling”. Yeah, that is always a joke, but I continue to go so I don’t feel like I am missing out on an opportunity to meet someone…..sigh.
Okay, enough of that. I love random pictures…. So here you go.
This picture is the four of us that went on a midnight bike ride a couple months ago. It was a blast!
This one is of cute little Meggy at Thanksgiving. I did a presentation on Southwest Airlines for school, so I contacted Southwest and asked if they would send me some promotional items. The hat is one of the things they sent. Looks good on you Meggy!
Okay, not one of the cutest pictures of me, but it has a good story. When I was in Utah in December for Ro’s wedding I gave my camera to Jessica to scroll through and see some of the pictures. Well, as I went to take the camera back from her, enough static electricity built up that it jumped from my finger into Jessica’s hand and consequently into the camera. There was a loud pop and no my camera viewing screen shows the picture as upside-down, backwards, and fuzzy! It is crazy, but when you download the pictures they turn out fine. It just makes it difficult to take the picture when you can’t see correctly!
Okay, last picture for this post. This is Joyce who is a previous co-worker of mine. She is now retired, but I invited her to our work Christmas Party, which I was in charge of. The evening turned out great and it was nice to see old friends.
Well that’s all folks….. Laters!

I saw that IMAX Everest thing a while back after reading the book "Into Thin Air". The IMAX thing seemed very tame after reading that book. A good read for anyone that wants to squash that goal of climbing Everest.
Ahhh...Chili's Molten Chocolate Cake. Our FAVORITE! If only we didn't have to go to Hawaii to be near a Chili's.
Sounds like you had a great week!
Sunday's are the best!
Love ya!
