Blond Moment and Flag Display
Wow this week went by fast! Here we are to Sunday already and time to update my blog. Well, this week I have a blond moment story for you. I try very hard not to fit into the typical blond category, but every once in a while I definitely have my moments. Okay, so I’ve been playing the stock market lately which, for the most part, has been very good to me. Well, one stock I bought took a nose dive as soon as I bought it and it didn’t look like it was going to go up any time soon. So, I decided I was going to sell at a loss and just be done with it. Well, when I placed my trade I forgot to change the radial button from “buy” to “sell”. Therefore, as soon as I hit “go” I ended up buying 500 more shares of this toxic stock! Yeah, oops! So, I placed another order immediately and did sell my original 500 shares for a $250 loss. I decided to hold on to the 500 shares I just accidentally bought to see if I could recoup some of my losses. About a week later I got a phone call from a co-worker around 9:30pm. He said, “Jules, do you still have CTIC?” I said I did and asked why? He said, “It just took off!” Whahooo!! So, I turned my computer back on and rode the wave. As it went up I moved my floor up (if it hits my floor it automatically sells), and I just watched the price cruise up. I needed some popcorn, ‘cause it was better than a movie! (Side note: I am eating popcorn while posting this... I found mini bags in the local grocery store- happy day!) The excitement didn’t last too long, since it crashed about 30 minutes later and it did hit my floor. Turns out that my blond moment ended up being a $150.00 mistake in my favor! Love it when that happens!
This week I have been trying to finish up my wood project before coming home. I am 99% done. It needs to have the glass cleaned (I have to go buy some glass cleaner) and a door latch put on. The flag display box was designed by Mom, so I hope it is somewhat close to what she pictured. The original intent was to put a door on the box, but the guys in the shop did not build it that way. So, we put a frame on it that wouldn’t allow you to put anything on the shelves unless they were permanently fixed in there. Well, that was not going to work, so we ended up tearing off the frame and building a door after all. It is made out of Mahogany.

Love your blond moment!!
That box is awesome...are you having it built on base or in the local area?
I hate it when "blonde moments" happen. Even I've had a few.
Love the box!
