Now that is the life Jackson!
Blogger decided to let me upload 4 pictures, so I'll take it! Hopefully it will let me come back and add more later. Anyway, my Utah trip from Thursday, May 10th to Sunday, May 13th was wonderful. We stayed busy, but it was a good busy and with great company so you can't get any better than that!
Mom picked my up Thursday night and we just visited before calling it a night. Friday was a glorious morning, so Mom put me to work! We cleaned the branches off the roof, cleaned out cupboards, then I cut the branches into smaller pieces to fit in the trash bin while Mom mowed the lawn. Once we did those chores we ran errands and went shopping all before 2:00ish when we headed up to Jessica's. I would say that was a productive morning!
We got to see Tay's soccer game that afternoon. It was fun to see her play, but I must be bad luck or something. It seems like everytime I get to watch they don't play their game. Oh, well, it was still fun to be there!
Friday evening Sean, Jess, Mom, and I went to this delicious Japanese steakhouse for dinner. The food was amazing!!
The Chef who cooked our food in front of us was pretty entertaining as well! It made for a fun night.
Mom and I spent Friday night at Jessica's so we could go straight from there down to Draper for the wedding. Saturday morning Jess and I made it out for a quick run... it was fun... I love hanging with my sister and have to hand it to her for going running when her back was killing. We then got to go to Jayson's soccer game. That kid is going to be a star, he is a natural!
Around noon we were off to the wedding festivities. Marlies was getting married in the Draper temple and I was invited to attend the sealing along with a guest, so Mom joined me! It is a good thing I have GPS in my phone, because I don't think we would have found that temple otherwise. We did get there and enjoyed a great day. Marlies was a gorgious bride and Lance could not wipe the grin off his face. After pictures we all headed to Thanksgiving Point for a nice luncheon, visiting, and time to wander the beautiful gardens. There was an art exhibit set up in the garden as well, so it was fun to wander through that and see the amazing paintings. For only $$$$$ it could be yours! We went to the reception for a short time before heading home. I was glad I could be there to support a wonderful friend. I am very happy for her and happy they are making their home in Denver so I will still get to see her!
On our way home we picked up a movie from Red Box, Hugo, and I watched it while Mom slept. Too funny!
I was happy I got to be home on Mother's Day! I have an amazing Mom and I always love spending time with her. Thanks for hangin' with me this weekend Momisita! So, Sunday I made some muffins and a smoothie and we had breakfast in bed... just like old times bringing Mom breakfast in bed! Nothing too fancy, but it was fun. After church Jess, Sean, and the kids came out so we had fun for a couple hours hanging with them. Sean made the most delicious lasagna, I so want the recipe! Jess and Sean dropped me off at the airport on thier way home. Jared picked me up at the airport and we had a nice conversation for the 40 minute drive and then my lovely weekend was over. It seems like that trip was at least 6 months ago. I think I need to plan another Utah trip soon.... wakeboarding here I come!
