Happy New Year everyone! Welcome to 2013!! I got to spend Christmas in Georgia this year with all of these wonderful people!
It was so nice to relax, hang with family, eat lots of goodies, and just have a great time. The pictures are not in order, but you will see we did a little bit of everything!
We did a session in the Atlanta temple on Friday morning. It was sooo cold! Seriously, the temperature was warmer in Denver! I'm glad I had my warm coat with me!
When in the Moore's house you get assimilated into a Boise State fan. Yep, that is me being a good sport! It was a fun game to watch, and I do attribute their win to my sacrifice. :^)
How do you have a snowball fight when in Georgia? With California snowballs of course!! During the football game we would pick a key word with the hope one of the kids would come into the room and say that word so we could through all the snowballs at them. The funny thing was the plan mostly backfired and it was those that picked the word that got attacked the most. Yep, I think Jen was the big winner in that game!
Eli would do "push-ups" when Boise scored. Pretty funny!
One night we went to see the Life of Lights. They have awesome light displays which you simply drive through the area to see. It was great!
It can't be the holidays without a little, okay a lot, of sugar and sweets! Meggy and I are making the wreaths.
One afternoon we read the book, "The Best Christmas Pageant Ever" followed up with watching the DVD that evening. Such a classic! Shazaam!!
Emmy, the very talented artist, painted while listening to the story.
Being all dressed up on Sunday provided a nice excuse to snap a few photos.
Caught under the mistletoe! Only 4 and already a ladies man! Too cute!
It is tradition to have a nice dinner Christmas Eve using the china and cloth napkins. It was fun to make it look all fancy!
It is also tradition to decorate the sugar cookies to leave for Santa!
Christmas exploded at their house, but Eli was not so rushed to open more presents that he took the time to say thank you! Christmas at its finest!
We went to a party at a friend's house Christmas evening and Emmy did my hair. Super cute!
My hair stylist!
We also watched a lot of hallmark movies (so cheesy, yet they suck you in!) I started guessing the plot within the first few minutes of the movie and had to continue watching just to see if I was right! We went shopping, ran errands, watched other movies, and ate a lot of goodies! I am also proud to say that I did zumba and in return Jenny came running with me. It was a Christmas miracle! :^) I also went for a run with Meggy one afternoon. I guess that helped offset all the goodies that were consumed.
In the party we went to on Christmas day we did a white elephant gift exchange. Don't be jealous, but I got a banana slicer! Yep, that puppy is going to be given away at the next white elephant party I attend! Seriously though, if you want a good laugh look up the reviews of the banana slicer on amazon. Hilarious!
It was a great trip and so sad to say goodbye. Thank you for letting me spend Christmas with you it was wonderful! Next time how about you all come here? :^)
