GOT TO LOVE KIDS

Okay, what is new in my life you may ask? Well, let me tell you….. 3 & 4 year olds! I am the assistant coach for a 3 & 4-year old soccer team. They are soooo cute! It is a bit challenging to keep them focused on soccer, but with two of us coaching, it is easier. My co-worker is the Head Coach and I am just helping out. Tonight was our second practice and I love it, it is a lot of fun.

Okay, so the other thing that is new in my life is my title at work… I am still a Contract Specialist (that is my official title), but I am also now the SABER Team Lead! I work SABER right now with 4 other people and now I am the one in charge- scary huh? I am actually really scared, that is a lot of responsibility. I did not go seeking this position, so I appreciate the confidence my boss has in me. I really think it is a battlefield promotion more then anything, but I am still excited (and really scared) for the challenge!

Well, those are the two big things I have other then being on the Elements Committee which is a whole different story….. which will have to wait for another day.

Speaking of kids…. I love these pictures, and I love my nieces! I think each one shows their personalities so much! Anyway, enjoy! Love you all. Have an awesome day!

Those are cute pictures!

I'm glad that you had such a great time coaching. I can't imagine trying to keep a handful of 3 & 4 year olds focused. That is quite the task!

Congrats on the new job. You'll do great.

Hope you had a great weekend! Can't wait to see you next weekend.

Love ya

Hey Julie-
I know you live your life in code my friend but what is a SABER? Excuse me for my blondeness but I'm cluesless!
Cute pictures of the girls...they are all great!

Hey Jen, sorry about the code... I forget sometimes that I speak two languages... English and Government! SABER stands for Simplified Acquisition Base Engineering Requirements. Don't know if that helps any, but there you go!
