UTAH TRIP

Hello, Hello! So, I just spent a wonderful weekend in Utah. I took Friday off work and caught a ride with Laredo Branch friends to Utah, since they were going there for Conference. I then hooked up with previous co-workers who now work at Hill AFB and did dinner with them. It was good to see them again. My friends dropped me off at Jessica’s where I spent Friday night.

Saturday I got to spend time with Rylee and Tayler before we headed out to Mom’s house once Jessica got home from work. We then attempted to watch the Saturday afternoon session of Conference- you know how well that works when there are kids around and visiting going on! After conference and chilling for awhile we headed up to Leatherby’s for dinner and some good ice cream! It was fun to hang out with Mom, Jess, Katie, Tayler and Rylee!

Sunday we got to enjoy the morning session with Jared and Katie before they headed back to Colorado. Mom and I then attempted to watch the afternoon session, but again, I did not succeed- a nap won out this time! After conference we had our obligatory Scrabble match which I won! Don’t worry, we played again on Monday and Mom won that game, so it is all tied up!

Monday was just a fun, relaxing, kind of a day. Mom and I had a great time hanging out and running errands and going shopping! Jess met up with us for a few minutes at Kohls after work before having to fight rush hour to get back to her kids. I’m glad she came even if it was just for a few minutes! I had to catch my flight back to Colorado by 7:00pm, so Mom dropped me off at the airport at 6:00pm and then headed on home. Jared picked me up from the airport and we made it back to the apartment by 10:00pm.
