· Friday evening we spent walking around the beautiful San Diego Temple and hanging out enjoying each others company!
· Saturday, 2 June—Ryan, Mom, and I went to the swap meet. It was way cold- what’s up with that San Diego? It was fun though, I bought a bamboo plant, a shirt, and cool splat toys that reform when you throw them.
· Saturday afternoon we all went to the Mormon Battalion and to Old Town. That was a neat little area with all the historic buildings and little shops.
The Cactus had "Utah" written on the leaf. This picture is in Old Town.

· Ryan and I attempted to play tennis that evening, but courts are hard to come by in San Diego unless you belong to a club. We (Ryan, Marcela, Reyes, and I) went to this cute little park with courts, but it had no net… minor detail. Sad when Brem-Town courts with a chain link fence for a net are better then San Diego’s! Anyway, since we couldn’t play we went shoe shopping instead and then went to In-N-Out Burger to buy dinner.
· Sunday, 3 June—We all went to Balboa Park in the morning. This is a cool park with awesome rose gardens, botanical gardens, and art museums, etc. We spent only a few hours there and did not even see a quarter of it!

This one is for you Ashley!
· We went to Sacrament meeting and that happened to be the same ward that Nephi Thompson (Jacqui Thompson’s son) goes to. Well, he happened to be blessing his son that day, so the whole Thompson family was there! Small world! Anyway, Mom had a good time visiting with some old friends.
· Monday, 4 June—Ryan had to go to work and Marcela stayed home with the baby, so Mom and I went on an adventure. We hopped on the bus and went to the Gas Lamp Quarters in down town San Diego. We walked all over and enjoyed some shopping, some great sights and some good company!

· Monday for FHE I went and whooped on Ryan in tennis! Okay, I didn’t whoop him, but we did go play tennis. It was fun to play with my bro and it was a close match!
· That evening we had a BBQ and then played 1 vs 100 (a game like the TV. show). It was fun.
· Tuesday, 5 June—Ryan had to work again. Marcela and I went and worked out then Mom, Marcela, Reyes, and I walked up to the mall to find the bread store! Got to love that! That afternoon we watched some good tennis since the French Open was on!
Just playing at the mall!
· Mom and I went to the San Diego Temple that afternoon. We wanted to do a session, but we didn’t have enough time so we did inititories. It was very nice.
· Tuesday evening we all went to the beach since it was Mom and my last night in San Diego and we had yet to go to the beach. The ocean is so awesome! It was fun just to be there and hear and see the waves as they crash into the rocks. We also saw some seals up close and personal! It wasn’t even too cold at the beach, so I was happy!

This seal was performing for us!
· Tuesday evening we watched “The Guardian”. That was a good show- cheesy in parts, but it was alright.
· Wednesday, 6 June—Mom and I flew home that day. We were able to enjoy a nice breakfast with Marcela in the morning, get our stuff all packed, and watch some tennis before heading out to the airport.
Ryan, this is your plane- it even has your name on it!
· Mom’s flight left first, so I hang with her for a while before she left. Then I hung out for a long, long, long time before my flight left. There were high winds in Denver, so they wouldn’t even let us take off. I was in the airport from 11:00am-6:00pm! Then once we were airborne they wouldn’t let us land. So I finally made it home by 10:30pm!
San Diego was a great trip. It was fun to hang with Mom, Ryan, Marcela, and Reyes. Reyes was fun to play with, but as soon as I would pick her up she didn’t like me anymore. About the time I left she would finally let me hold her. She is a cutie though! Thanks Ryan and Marcela for letting me hang with you guys and your cute daughter!

Thanks for the flower picture! You're awesome!
Great pictures. We sure miss Ry, Marcela and Reyes around here!
I'm so impressed that your mom is holding Reyes. I guess there's something to be said for Grandmas!
Love ya!
