Happy! Happy! Happy!

Happy all around.... Happy Mother's Day! Happy Weekend! Happy Spring Weather! It's been a great couple of weekends since last weekend I was in Utah and got to play the whole weekend and this weekend I was back in Denver and played the whole weekend.  Got to love that!

I was in Utah last weekend to help Mom celebrate her birthday and to help tend the kiddos while Jess and Sean were gallivanting around D.C.! It was great fun! I mean really, who wouldn't want to go to a soccer game in a blizzard???

I didn't get a lot of pictures actually doing much, but that is probably becuase we didn't DO much but hang out, play with kids, put an indoor play tent together, got a helium balloon unstuck from the ceiling fan, went to soccer games, went to church, and hung out some more! Okay, maybe we did do a lot! Good times! Anyway, I did get some cute pictures....

Jackson was grinning from ear to ear when he heard his mom's voice on the phone!

Star Goalie! They lost the game 1-0, but Tayler had about 10 great saves!

Rylee played in a blizzard.  She is the one in the pink coat where the ball just went over her head.

Blizzard and freezing, but Jayson is a dedicated fan!

Julie and Jackson all bundled up- it was mighty cold!

 We finally celebrated Mom's birthday!!!

I'm sure a lucky Aunt!

This weekend has been mostly play as well.  Sorry I didn't get any pictures.  Anyway, since I got my 2 hour and 40 minute run on Friday, I felt justified in playing all day Saturday! I went to breakfast at Waffle Brother's Saturday morning with Desiree, Joe, Trista, and Tina.. Yummy! I got the waffle sundae- nothing like dessert for breakfast! Good thing Tina and I went for an hour walk after we ate to help burn some of those calories.  I got home from breakfast in time to grab my stuff and be out the door again.  I met up with a previous co-worker to see her new house and to study the FAR (I know, we're nerds! She asked for some help in understanding it better so we get together when we can.)  I made it home from studying with enough time to grab my clubs and head out the door again to make my 4pm tee time! Deanna, Matt, Lisa (Matt's girlfriend is in town this weekend who is stayed with me) and I played a 3 Par 9 hole course.  It was great fun.  I got par on one hole, so I was happy! It was such a glorious 85 degree day on Saturday, so I spent the majority of the day outside enjoying it.  Even after golfing Deanna and I met up with Kristin and Audra and played a little frisbee golf in the park.  All in all it was a fabulous day!

Today is Mothers Day... so a happy Mother's Day shout out to all of you who sacrifice so much for your kids.  Thanks Mom for being 20 billion times better than adequate....you're the best and I am very spoiled for having such a great Momisita! Love you tons!

I love that last picture. So cute!! We are blessed with a great mom aren't we?! I can't believe that one weekend is a blizzard and then the next it's hot. Sorry you made it for the snowy weekend. Thank you so much for coming. The kids are still talking about it. They had so much fun. You are just plain awesome.
great job on your long run. That is amazing. Glad you had a Saturday to just play. You deserve it. Love ya.
